The Barn Church proudly presents The London Gallery Quire in a programme of West Gallery Music – The Psalmody sung in parish churches in the Georgian Period. There will be a collection shared between the church and Quire. Saturday 1st October at 16.00 at The Barn.

This Sunday (18 Sept) we welcome Revd Ann Lynes who will be taking our service.
Ann is currently serving as Curate in the Barnes Team Ministry. Prior to ordination she worked as a civil servant and trained for the ministry at Ripon College Cuddesdon in Oxford. She is an enthusiastic gardener, hillwalker and occasional golfer and loves to visit Kew Gardens throughout the changing seasons.

The Vicar, Rev. Peter Hart, is on study leave from 22nd August to 27th November. Our services continue as normal and will be taken by a variety of local clergy and old friends of The Barn.

Thanks to everyone that came to the Summer Fair today – we raised £1650. Thanks to all that helped to organise the fair and to run it on the day. Special thanks to Susie Hancock and Felice Oxborrow for superb overall organisation!!

The Barn Summer Fair is going to be a brilliant event: we’ve the Kew Community Choir coming to sing; Kimmy of Hartbeeps to entertain the kids and (fingers crossed!) some of Miss Helen’s ballet students to dance for us too!
However to make the Fair a real success, we need donations:-
· Bottles (wine, spirits, shampoo, olive oil, cans of fizzy drinks, etc)
· Home produce (cakes, jams, chutneys etc)
· Toys
· Books
· Bric a brac
· Good quality 2nd hand kids’ clothes NO JUMBLE PLEASE
· Plants
· Raffle prizes
Please could you bring any of the above along to church any Sunday; to the church between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Friday, 8th July and of course on the day itself. If you have any questions or queries, please e-mail kewbarnevents@barnchurchkew.uk
