Light up the dark at Halloween!
The Barn Church and St Luke’s are excited to be hosting a Light Party as an alternative event for Halloween this year.
When: Sunday 29 October, 4:30-6:30pm
Where: The Barn Church, Kew (on Atwood Avenue)
What: A party for All Hallows Eve with crafts, activities, and games for all ages. There will be a story time and a bring-and-share feast.
Fancy dress is welcome (but optional!) – come as your favourite Saint, a light, or in a non-scary halloween outfit

The Benefice of St Philip and All Saints with St Luke’s, Kew, welcome you to a service of Choral Evensong for All Soul’s Day on Wednesday 1 November at 6:30pm at St Philip and All Saints (The Barn) Church.
All Soul’s is the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed, the day on which we remember those who have died.

To all parents/carers wishing to submit School Clergy Forms
This is a reminder that all school clergy forms should be submitted to the parish office. We have quite a few applications every year, and this allows me to process them efficiently.
Please be aware the deadline for Secondary school applications closes on Tuesday 31st October 2023 and Primary school applications closes on Monday 15th January 2024.
If you would like to ask Rev Melanie to complete a School Clergy form, may we kindly ask that forms are submitted to the Parish Office to be processed by the following dates:
- Secondary School Applications to the Parish office by Thursday 12th October 2023
- Primary School Applications to the Parish Office Thursday 4th January 2024
Please note that schools do not accept letters of recommendation from Clergy and Rev Melanie will only be able to confirm attendance to church on the form. Please be aware most schools ask for confirmation of at least fortnightly attendance and Rev Melanie can only confirm if this is accurate or not.
