We are operating as a registered charity under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund — (charity no. 1099682). You can now donate to CalAid online, via cheque and via BACS. Thank you to all our supporters who have given us money. We have raised £149,000 and have now transferred the ‘pledged’ money to our charitable fund under the auspices of Prism. This allows us to start recovering gift aid/ tax relief. If you donated via JustGiving you will be contacted via Prism to ask you to give your details if you wish us to recover the gift aid on your donation. We are currently settling our bills for storage, transport, packaging and other essentials related to collecting and distributing the physical goods donated to date. We are also in the process of setting a budget to cover future costs related to the donated goods as well as other projects supporting displaced people in Calais and the other crisis areas. The needs of the refugees is at the centre of this process, and we will do our best to ensure every £1 is spent wisely and that communications about initiatives and projects we support is communicated appropriately  What can I donate?
