The Barn Church, Kew.

Where all Gods children are welcome.

Sunday services start at 9.30am

Parish office: 020 8832 1324, office@kewparishes.plus.com

On 25th September we will begin a special Stewardship Drive over a four week period (25th September -17th October) to raise awareness about the importance of stewardship as part of Christian discipleship, and the essential part that your generosity of time, talents and financial support play in keeping our church alive and viable. There will be a different theme for each service and also Junior Church will be running on those same themes so our children are engaged in fun activities around stewardship too. I would like to ask you to please make a special effort to attend one, some, or all of the Sundays, so we can pray, listen, and discuss together matters of vital importance to the future of the Barn Church, whilst giving thanks for all we have.

Encounters in Carolling: Benefice Advent Bible Study

Join us this Advent to explore the ways our Carols shape our faith.

During these studies, the congregations of St Luke’s and St Philip’s (The Barn Church) come together to explore the Christianity and the Bible. This year we will be reflecting upon some of our favourite carols and the ways in which they form our understandings of Advent and Christmas.

The Study will be hosted at St Luke’s Church on Thursday mornings

  • 10-11am on Thursday 30 November, 7 December, 14 December
  • 11am-12 noon on Thursday 21 December, followed by Eucharist and a shared lunch*

The Study Guide will be available for collection at the service on Sunday 26 November and as a digital version from the office. You’ll find it helpful to have both versions in order to access better quality pictures for the study.

*Lunch (two courses and wine) will cost £20 but if this would be a barrier for you and you would like to come, please speak to one of the clergy or wardens. Please reserve your spot at lunch in advance by emailing the office.
